My first look is a elegant silk charmeuse mermaid gown. Complete with a corset back and a lace wrap around shawl to be played with and worn different ways by the user. Look 2 and 3 are still in progress you can see some photos of my process below.

Thinking Through Time
This dark purple slip gown was made for my creative fashion 1 class, 2023. The runway photos below are from New England fashion week 2024. While the mannequin display was in Copley Plaza for a gallery with Massart called “Thinking Through Time”. On one of the last photos you’ll see the item I chose from the Massart archive to base this piece around. It is a snuff jar from the 1920s. I built this character, Amelia, that would have this item and made her garments around that. With sketches, close ups, mood boards and a technical flat you can really see the whole process. The beads are all hand strung and the appliqués are hand sewn. I really tried to capture the wear and tear of this cocaine addicted 1920s jazz singer while keeping her elegant and sleek. The other two sketches are other dresses I was assigned to draw for the character.

Moolah Kick collab
Moolah Kicks is a trailblazing brand in women’s basketball, founded in 2020 by Natalie White. It stands out as the first and only basketball shoe company exclusively designed for female athletes. The brand’s rapid success is evident in its distribution across over 500 stores and its adoption by WNBA players and grassroots teams. Moolah Kicks also emphasizes reinvestment into the women’s basketball community, reflecting its purpose-driven approach to equity in sports and performance innovation
Our collaboration with Moolah Kicks was to make jackets out of unsold merchandise in their warehouses. While other group member got featured players to base their jackets on I got to render a commercial mock-up. A Moolah jacket to be sold in any of the many stores that carries the Moolah brand.
